| Capabilities To date there are 22 television programming satellites in geo-synchronous orbit at the equator with their antennas pointing towards the northern hemisphere. Including the military, weather services as well as data/communications satellites in low earth orbit there must be hundereds. To have an opportunity to work with this technology I couldn't pass the chance up. This gig fell right into my futurist category leading me to work with satellite technology for quite a while. With the convergence of all communications and entertainment technology as we start the next millenium knowledge of the combined technology will serve all well. |
After many years in the music business I needed to something different. I t was time to earn an honest living ... I found a company installing Private Cable Systems in Florida. I felt that this could be a something to do while I decided how I wanted to proceed with my record career. Well it must have been pretty good because I stayed for a number of years. Incorporating my music and audio/video knowledge into a production gig for a cable TV production company. Then the Internet arrived, the time came for the "back to the music" Calls! but the C-Band and Ku-Band technology is always around when you need it. (97) |
